About the company
Kiwa is today one of the most successful companies in inspection, testing, certification, and technical consulting. Testing & Inspection is our largest business area with approximately 650 employees working with inspection, control, and testing within Pressure Equipment, Lifting Equipment, Testing, Welding, and Design Review. What unites everyone at Kiwa is our commitment to creating a safer and more sustainable society. We are now looking for a regional manager to cover the eastern region, which consists of eight unit managers stationed in Norrköping, Västerås, Örebro, Stockholm, and Uppsala. You will report to the business area manager and be part of the management team for Testing & Inspections.
About the role
As a regional manager, you have overall responsibility for ensuring that the region's units operate efficiently, profitably, and with high quality. You are highly engaged in leading the region towards new goals, with one of your focus areas being to develop each unit to become more self-sufficient. The role is broad and includes leadership, financial management, business development, and collaboration with other regions and business areas. You will also work with marketing, sales, service development, quality, and personnel. An important part of Kiwa's success journey is to expand our customer portal together with other colleagues at Kiwa.
Your workplace will be at one of our offices in the eastern region. It is advantageous if you reside in the Stockholm area. Travel for work primarily occurs within the region to promote collaboration and presence.
We are looking for someone who
You are an engaged and experienced leader, preferably with industry experience. As a person, you are driven, business-oriented, and always strive to achieve your goals. We expect you to be a positive relationship builder who can engage staff and instill confidence both internally and externally. To succeed in the role, you have a strong drive to build engaged teams while also having an interest in business and further developing customer relationships. Through your excellent ability to structure and plan, you can work both strategically and operationally to benefit the business. An important quality in our future regional manager is humility and a willingness to learn and understand the daily operations and the challenges we face.
Requirements
· Relevant higher education or equivalent competence acquired in another way
· At least five years of documented leadership experience, preferably with a background in the industry
· Good technical understanding
· Documented experience in successfully leading and developing employees
· Experience in sales and budget work
· Very good knowledge of Swedish and English (the corporate language is English)
· B driver's license
Meritorious
It is highly meritorious if you already work in the industry. It is also advantageous if you have experience in operations within paper & pulp, petrochemicals/chemicals, combined heat and power, mining/steel industries with roles such as project manager, maintenance manager, inspection manager, block manager, or similar leadership positions.
